Online program for parents facing the challenge of raising a child with a disability
At Casa Angelman we have been assinting families for 12 years with a face-to-face Program under a holistic approach.
Today it is available online in order to reach more families, without the need to travel to Buenos Aires.
That parents / guardians can be able to:
Choose what is best for their child (school, therapies, professionals)
Find new tools in the process of raising a child
Foster their children´s abilities and independence through interest-based activities
Design a daily rutine based on specific resources the family has
Incorporate practices such as meditation, reflexology, osteopathy, and healthy eating habits
Promote social inclusion by creating opportunities to socialize with children and adults as a daily basis routine
There are 6 modules that include talks and interviews with doctors, health professionals and therapists.
The program may be carried out at the pace each family chooses, within a maximum period of 6 months.

1- Neurology Assistance
With Dra. Lorena Llobenes, pediatric neurologist, ayurvedic doctor.
2- Parent to Parent Talk
With Maxie Aubi, Casa Angelman founder and mother of Gianluca, a 23 year old boy with Angelman Syndrome, who shares her expeirence throughout the years.
5- Introductory talk to holistic approach
Design of a daily routine for family organization
6- Alternative Aumentative Communication Session
Assembly and use of image templates for communication with the child
